Encontré un articulo en la web The New York Times sobre el pasatiempo de mirar a la gente en las calles de Manhattan. Es interesante como mencionan barrios y calles y puntos especificos ya no como lugar de transito si no como destinos para ir y ver y escuchar a cierto tipo de gente en la calle.

PEOPLE-WATCHING is to New York City what vista-gazing is to the Grand Canyon: You haven’t really been if you haven’t done it. But you don’t just watch people here, you watch their poodles and pugs, too. And you don’t just watch people, you eavesdrop on them or even follow them (briefly, please). There are no ethical qualms: People here know that what they do and say on the streets of New York is fair game.
